With our air ambulances based in Gallup, NM, we are geographically positioned for and capable of air medical transport services as requested within the contiguous 48 United States. Gallup Med Flight has developed and continues to maintain ongoing preferred provider/contractual relationships within our service area. We provide Critical Care and/or Advanced Life Support care based on each individual patient’s acuity level.

In addition, Gallup Med Flight:

• is staffed with medical crews (registered nurses and paramedics) extensively trained in critical care, advanced cardiac life support, pediatrics, advanced trauma life support, neonatal resuscitation, as well as flight physiology and aircraft safety;
  
  
  
• is staffed with high-time (ATP) Airline Transport Pilot-licensed pilots with special training in Lifeguard (air ambulance) operations;
  
  
  
• is staffed with dedicated Communication Specialists and Administrative Support staff; and,
  
  
  
• is directed by physicians with years of experience in emergency medicine, internal medicine, and air medical transport.
  

All emergency calls will be accepted within our scope of practice without discrimination due to race, creed, sex, color, age, religion, national origin, ancestry, handicap, or ability to pay. We provide primary emergency back up to those facilities with or without established local air ambulance providers as requested and also accept pre-scheduled air medical transports when requested.
